Marketing/Fundraising Coordinator

Purpose of the Position


Under the supervision of Fundraising Specialist, the incumbent will assist in developing fundraising strategic plan and implement donor cultivation and retention activities, using direct marketing technique to communicate with existing donors with advertising techniques that includes direct mailing, cell phone text messaging, digital/online marketing, and other form of new social media to get better engaged with donor.

 

Major Responsibilities

- Assist in developing donor cultivation and retention fundraising strategies/tests, and implementation using direct marketing and any other applicable platforms to increase donor revenue and retention and to get better engaged with donors.

- Draft project documents, work plans, budgets, proposals on implementation arrangements.

- Carry out related operational tasks ensuring programme results, activities and programme coding are as agreed plan, and make amendments and alterations as per section revisions when necessary.

- Provide support in organizing a day to day briefing and dealing with contractors, suppliers, outsourced staff and relevant personnel within and/or outside the office to develop well-planed donor-centric communication materials and implement donor retention and cultivation campaigns through direct mailing, cell phone text messaging, digital/online marketing, and other forms such as social media to persuade one-time giving donors to become a regular giving donor and ensure that regular giving donors stay committed and make a larger regular giving value.

- Use PSFR team resources, provide support on evaluation of the performance of each activity and present expenditure and budget and progress against plans.

- Assist in identifying new fundraising opportunities and create plans to implement them (once approved put the plan into action in a timely and effective manner).

- Research, analyze, verify, and synthesize data and information to assist in the preparation of fundraising reports relating to country office and donors to support the office in optimizing existing and new channels. Also, identify best practices and lesson learnt to support knowledge development and capacity building in the area of work.

- Support capacity development activities related to performance monitoring for contractors, suppliers and outsources. This also include knowledge related to internal UNICEF systems/tools by preparing training materials and participating on exercises pertaining to program processes and procedures.

- Provide overall administrative support to the team such as screening incoming correspondence/telephone calls, arranging meetings and drafting related minutes, maintaining the filing system, etc.

 

Qualifications of Successful Candidate

- Completion of Secondary School. University degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, preferred.
- Minimum six years of professional work experience in sales/marketing and/or fundraising combined with some administrative work experience. Hands-on experience in database management, campaign or account management is an asset.
- Fluency in English and Thai, both spoken and written.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to handle and complete multiple tasks within deadlines. Attention to details.
- Tact, discretion, self-starter and good judgment.
- Proven proficiency and good knowledge of computer applications, including data management related.

Purpose of the Position


Under overall guidance of Fund Raising Officer, the incumbent is responsible for developing fundraising strategies, plans, implementation as well as managing Fundraising activities relevant to Telethon/Event/Integrated Media.

 

Major Responsibilities

- Coordinate with Telethon/Event Fundraising Consultant in:
   o Developing strategies and plans for Telethon/Event/Integrated Media Fundraising activities.
   o Executing activities.

- Lead an implementation of the Telethon/Event/Integrated Media fundraising activities.

- Coordinate, organize, and secure agreement with external stakeholders (i.e., TV channel, a production house, corporate sponsors, donation facilities/platforms) for pre-event, event, and post-event activities.

- Support internal teams to coordinate with media partners and sponsors.

- Lead and manage all activities relevant to Telethon/Event/Integrated Media; including thank you letters and other appreciation to donors and other stakeholders in a timely manner.

- Monitor success of each activity and prepare progress report against the work plan and targets. Collect, interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and model(s), and provide reports, insights, and recommendation. Use information gained from the analysis to develop budget and forecast of future activities.

- Perform other duties, as required by supervisor.

 

Qualifications of Successful Candidate


- Advance University degree in Marketing, Communication or related field.
** A first level university degree with a relevant combination of academic qualifications and experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree. **
- Minimum of one year professional work experience at managerial level the field of sales/marketing activities/projects combine with campaign management and administration.
- Highly organized and logical, able to manage and priorities multiple tasks and several simultaneous projects and priorities efficiently, to work under pressure, meet deadlines and see projects through.
- Thai Nationality only.
- Good organizational and communications (oral and written) skills.
- Attention to details.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Tact, discretion, self-starter and good judgment.
- Ability to work under minimum supervision.

Purpose of the Position

Under overall guidance of the Fund Raising Officer, the incumbent is accountable for market research to inform business opportunities and also the implementation which includes corporate sector engagement contributing to individual pledge donors such as Corporate Pathway to Pledge, workplace giving and other campaigns e.g. list sharing, e-commerce.

 

Major Responsibilities

The incumbent will be responsible for building new partnerships with the corporate sector which will enable UNICEF Thailand to recruit high volumes of individual monthly donors. Main duties of the position are:

- Joint collaboration with Corporate Fundraising Officer to map and develop corporate pathway to pledge strategy.

- Identify opportunities and prospect corporate partners/suppliers (pipeline).

- Develop proposals, pitching tools and materials to be used in meetings with prospect corporate partners/suppliers.

- Lead meetings with prospects and prepare relevant document.

- Analyze financial proposals and investment returns.

- Manage and strengthen business relationship by Monitor, follow up, and keep track of the partnerships

- Collaborate with fundraising teams (acquisition, digital, philanthropy) in executing the Corporate Pathway to Pledge fundraising activities.

- Generate and securitize data to produce progress report on Corporate Pathway to Pledge fundraising activities against the work plan and targets. Collect, interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and model(s), and provide reports, insights, and recommendation. Use information gained from the analysis to develop budget and forecast of future activities.

- Seek opportunities and join business networking with industry related associations.

- Perform other duties, as required by supervisor.

 

Qualifications of Successful Candidate

- Advanced University degree in Marketing, Communication or related field.
** A first level university degree with a relevant combination of academic qualifications and experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree. **
- Minimum one year of direct professional work experiences at managerial level in the field of marketing/sales/ campaign management, business development or relationship management.
