Project Assistant for
Migrant Adolescents and Youth Voices and Actors:Claiming their right to SRH

Position: Project Assistant - SRH
Assignment Type: 1-year fixed term contract
Location: Based in Mae Sot,Tak province

Job background: This job will assist the Program Manager to manage and facilitate the project’s plan, monitoring and assessment as assigned by Project Sterring Committee. To coordinate with the team and also with partners/ communities/ relevant Gos and other NGOs to meet our aims as outlined in the project proposal in accordance with Plan’s policies and procedures.
Job purpose: Monitor work at 4DICs and 2 mobile DICs to standardize SRH services and record keeping with DIC staff • Follow up with two partners and report on project progress in order to ensuring the project is on track with objective set • Assist in consolidate data and information from 2 partners to ensure a quality of data submitted to Plan’s quarterly reports • Translate and coordinate monthly meetings with 2 partners • Ensure timely of all deliverable and reports • Maintain records and filing in a systematic way with both partners • Implement SRH in migrant communities by working closely with migrant health volunteers from 2 partners and Thai Health Offices at the district levels.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience: Bachelor degree in Social Science, Public Health or related field • Minimum 2-3 years of demonstrated professional experience in working with Burmese migrants in Tak province • Good understanding of migrant context and problems related to health issues • Able to speak, read and write Thai, Burmese and Karen languages (preferred) • Computer skill; MS Office Program such as Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
