The IRC has been operating in Thailand since 1975 and currently provides assistance to displaced persons in Tak, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi and Mae Hong Son provinces.
Job Overview/Summary:
Laboratory Officer will base in Sangkhlaburi (Katchanaburi Province), and will be Under the direct supervision of the Laboratory/HIS Supervisor, the Laboratory Officer is responsible for providing adequate formal/informal and refresher training to camp-based laboratory staff and continuous technical support through coaching and on-going guidance to camp-based laboratory staff, establishing and maintaining standards quality control system of laboratory, monitoring of laboratory supplies usage including proper care of laboratory equipment, proper organize of laboratory referral system and assist camp-based staff to ensure the HIS data is proper entering timely manner

Ensure the HIS month report is proper enter to the computer timely manner.
Job Requirements:.
Education: Bachelor degree in medical technology (associated medical sciences) or certificate in clinical laboratory
Work Experience: Minimum 3 years of clinical laboratory experience in a hospital or clinical / primary care setting. Previous work experience in clinical laboratory in a refugee setting or in a developing country is an advantage
Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:
Language Skills: Fluency in Thai, Karen or Burmese, is essential. English language proficiency is an advantage.
