DESCRIPTION

BACKGROUND:
The IRC has been providing humanitarian assistance to refugees in Thailand since 1975, working with refugees and displaced Burmese since 1990. The IRC has recently commenced the USAID-funded Project for Local Empowerment, which works to build the technical, management, and leadership capacities of community-based organization (CBO) partners to deliver efficient and effective health, education, legal, women’s protection and empowerment, and protection services, and distribute food and cash transfers, for migrants and refugees living in six provinces and nine camps in Thailand, as well as for IDPs living in four states and two regions in eastern Burma. PLE also directly addresses the legal and policy environment in Thailand that creates roadblocks for Burmese seeking to access their rights, through advocacy and other interventions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Scope of work

1. Develop story and 4 animation character of 2D animation for Introduction of Protection Mainstreaming with consultation and approval by IRC
2. Best on (1) produce four 2D animation for 4 minute on Introduction of Protection Mainstreaming
3. Produce script of animation in Thai and insert Thai voice and Burmese Sub-title in animation
4. Submit complete product and raw file to IRC

Qualifications

The following qualifications are preferred:

- At least 1 years’ experience in media and media publication

- Demonstrate skill in documentation and data management
