Contract type: Permanent

Salary & Benefits in Thailand:   THB 700,000 – 800,000 annual gross salary plus pension, medical insurance, 37 annual leave days including public holidays.

Role overview

This role is to manage the Youth participation and social accountability project of VSO Thailand at the quality outcome and impact desired, to time and budget specifications, ensuring that our unique volunteering for development approach and People First framework are at the heart of the programme; and, that we deliver sustainable change for, with and by our primary actors.

Skills, qualifications and experience

• Significant project management experience in a development sector with a proven track record of

    developing and delivering quality projects at a community level using evidence-based and people-

    Centre approach.

• Sectoral knowledge in the fields of youth participation, social accountability, social inclusion and

   gender

• Understanding and valuing the role of volunteering in development
• Strong financial management skills (including ability to understand and work with restricted funds and

   full cost recovery concepts, and project funding issues)

• Understanding of financial management policy and excellent budget monitoring and management and

   reporting skills.

• Excellent written and spoken English and Thai.
• Ability to negotiate and maintain relations with multi stakeholders including government, CSO

   network and private sector

This role will be based in Bangkok, Thailand. Applicants must have the right to work in Bangkok, Thailand to be eligible for this position. We will be unable to obtain a visa and work permit for those who do not have the right to work.
