Programme officer (Women's right) 

Location: Bangkok, Thailand

Start Date: As soon as possible

Compensation: Competitive salary with benefits (Performance bonus, 21 days annual leave, health insurace and provident fund)

ActionAid is an international organisation, working with over 25 million people in more than 40 countries for a world free from poverty and injustice. ActionAid Thailand (AAT) is part of the ActionAid International Federation and has been working with people and communities in Thailand for a decade addressing issues related to poverty,  human rights, education, and women’s and youth’s empowerment.

ActionAid Thailand is expanding its operations and looking for highly skills and motivated Thai nationals with good English communication skills to fill the following positions:

Program Officer (Women’s right)

This position provides necessary support to programme development, implementation and monitoring to ensure efficient and effective delivery of programme objectives. The Women’s Rights program Officer will implement the strategy and project on Women’s Rights & Participation in accordance with the Country Strategic Paper, and work with partners to ensure that their project plans are in line with AAT’s strategic direction. This role needs to travel to program area field including Deep South of Thailand.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor Degree in social sciences, economics, women or development studies
• At least 5 years relevant experience in a multi-cultural working environment, preferably an NGO
• Experience in working on Women’s Rights & Participation area, M&E, networking and capacity building
• Experience in campaigning
• Documenting, report writing and project training proposal skills are preferable
