Job Description:
At SOS, we are working to reduce food waste, through better management of surplus, along with providing tools and skills around food education to help communities become sustainable.

This position will be responsible for creating and maintaining the public brand and image of SOS, as we are beginning to grow, we see great need for improvement. This will include, but is not limited, creation of new logo and identity, complete website overhaul, along with constant website and SEO maintenance, creation and printing of business cards, signs/posters, some content writing, creation of all presentations needed for our donors and community projects, enhancing and maintaining all social media platforms.
You will also work to make and follow-up on our donor relations, including cold calling and e-mailing, and taking meetings.
You will play an integral role in planning and speaking at public events, both small monthly, and large annual.
As the scope of the project changes, this position may alter based on program success, and SOS expects the candidate for this position to be flexible and manage, within reason, all work assigned. Working closely with the entire SOS team in Thailand and America, you will be involved in all decisions around how we accomplish our mission and an integral part of making SOS’s vision a reality, while reporting directly to the Operations Director and Foundation Board Members.
Work Time:
As needed, minimum 40 hours per week, no overtime pay.
This schedule will be irregular, and dependent upon events and happenings of this 7 day a week operation.
Vacation 3 weeks (15 days) and 14 public holidays. Approved in advance by direct boss.
Sick leave with doctor’s proof after 3-day period, up to maximum 20 days.
Probation period of 90 days.
Compensation:
30,000 THB Monthly during probation period
Plus 500 Baht per month towards cell phone data (SOS requires you to be online often).
Reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed as incurred.
This salary will be paid in Thailand on the last working day of each month, subject to Thai taxes and other government related deductions, if any.
