Administrative Assistant

Effective with the release of this position announcement, Winrock International is recruiting applicants for the position of Administrative Assistant to support projects in its regional office in Bangkok, Thailand.

The responsibilities, duties, and qualifications are described in the attached position description.

Position Description

POSITION TITLE:                            Administrative Assistant

LOCATION:                                      Bangkok, Thailand

REPORTS TO:                                  Operations Manager

Position Summary:

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting operational functions Winrock’s Bangkok office.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist Operations Manager with all administrative, operational, and logistical aspects of the program;
  • Lead front office operations, including answering phones and maintaining relations with vendors;
  • Ensure smooth office operations through timely procurement of supplies, office and equipment servicing and maintenance, etc;
  • Organize office transportation and coordinate staff schedules;
  • Manage office physical and electronic files, as well as incoming and outgoing correspondence;
  • Assist Operations Manager in preparing letters, office memos, documents for meetings and events;
  • Facilitate procurement process in accordance with Winrock and USAID policies and procedures;
  • Manage assets such as camera, LCD in and out by using log book properly;
  • Support implementation and maintenance of office administration and personnel systems;
  • Assist with language translation;
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • University degree (Associate or higher) preferred
  • At least 3 years of experience in administrative/operational management or office support
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities under pressure, and attention to detail
  • Excellent communications and customer service skills
  • Fluency in Thai and English required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook applications
  • Experience working in offices of regional/international organizations strongly preferred.

SALARY:

The annual salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Excellent benefits.
