Context:

Under the overall supervision of the Programme Coordinator and the direct supervision of the Assistant Project Manager of the Thai-Israel Cooperation of the Placement for Thai Agricultural Workers project, the incumbent will carry out the following duties and responsibilities.

 

Core Functions / Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Project Manager in monitoring the progress of the whole recruitment processes and handle any unexpected delays.
  1. Keep track of the individual processing statuses and inform the Project Manager and the Assistant Project Manager in case of delays and problems
  1. Update and prepare various documents and forms necessary for the processing of the recruitment and deployment Thai workers.
  1. Schedule and arrange the interview appointment with the applicants throughout the recruitment processes of the project.
  1. Answer to the hotlines, when necessary as a support and back-up of phone operators,
  1. Keeping record of the phone calls
  1. Notify individuals and organizations concerned with pre-departure, departure, transit, reception and post-arrival assistance on pre-departure and travel details.
  1. Preparing necessary statistical reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly)
  1. Perform such other duties as may be assigned.

 

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Thai National.
  • University degree in Business Administration, Social Science, Language or other relevant field;
  • At least three years in the area of business administration, in particular handling movements  of people and goods;
  • Professional experience in working for humanitarian organizations, non-governmental or governmental institutions /organizations;
  • Experience in working with the grassroots people or migrant worker an asset;
  • Customer Service Orientation
  • Strong team player but with a capacity to take the lead and work independently;
  • Ability to work effectively and harmoniously with colleagues from varied cultures and professional backgrounds;
  • Excellent writing, communication and negotiation skills in Thai; Good communication in English
  • Computer literate (MS Office) e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email Outlook.

 

Languages

Fluency in Thai, Ability to communicate in English is an advantage.
