Context:
Under the overall supervision of the Programme Coordinator and the direct supervision of the Assistant Project Manager of the Thai-Israel Cooperation of the Placement for Thai Agricultural Workers project, the incumbent will carry out the following duties and responsibilities.
Core Functions / Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager in monitoring the progress of the whole recruitment processes and handle any unexpected delays.
- Keep track of the individual processing statuses and inform the Project Manager and the Assistant Project Manager in case of delays and problems
- Update and prepare various documents and forms necessary for the processing of the recruitment and deployment Thai workers.
- Schedule and arrange the interview appointment with the applicants throughout the recruitment processes of the project.
- Answer to the hotlines, when necessary as a support and back-up of phone operators,
- Keeping record of the phone calls
- Notify individuals and organizations concerned with pre-departure, departure, transit, reception and post-arrival assistance on pre-departure and travel details.
- Preparing necessary statistical reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly)
- Perform such other duties as may be assigned.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Thai National.
- University degree in Business Administration, Social Science, Language or other relevant field;
- At least three years in the area of business administration, in particular handling movements of people and goods;
- Professional experience in working for humanitarian organizations, non-governmental or governmental institutions /organizations;
- Experience in working with the grassroots people or migrant worker an asset;
- Customer Service Orientation
- Strong team player but with a capacity to take the lead and work independently;
- Ability to work effectively and harmoniously with colleagues from varied cultures and professional backgrounds;
- Excellent writing, communication and negotiation skills in Thai; Good communication in English
- Computer literate (MS Office) e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email Outlook.
Languages
Fluency in Thai, Ability to communicate in English is an advantage.
