Purpose of the Position


Under the supervision of Fundraising Specialist, the incumbent will assist in developing the donor retention strategic plan and implementing donor-centric communication programmes. With a focus on telephone marketing and new media, the objective is to better engage donors so they continue making regular donations, stay committed, make a larger gift, renew their regular donations, convert to become regular giving donors and build loyalty. The incumbent will manage the day-to-day operation both in-house and outsourced contractors to ensure optimum delivery of services.

 

Major Responsibilities

1. Support in the development and execution of the private sector fundraising strategic plan

Assist in developing donor retention and loyalty strategic plan and implementing donor-centric communication programmes with a focus on using telephone marketing and new media as a means to better engage with donors so that they continue making regular giving donation, staying committed, making a larger gift, renewing their regular giving donations, converting to become a regular giving donor and are saved from becoming an unintentional lapse donor created by dishonored payments due to change in the account details, expired credit card, lost/stolen/frozen cards and/or insufficient funds through a proactive follow-up system and increase of rebilling attempts, and managing and monitoring the performance of both in-house and outsourced contractors to ensure a delivery of excellent services in the area of data collection, gift processing, credit card/direct debit bank submission/collection and call center services.

Provide overall administrative support to the team, including arranging meetings and drafting related minutes, maintaining the filing system, etc.

 

2. Support the monitoring of programme results and report on progress

Provide support on the evaluation of the performance of each activity, including analysis of income, expenditure and return on investment (ROI) and progress against budgets.

 

3. Support in Knowledge Management and capacity building

Research, analyze, verify and synthesize information on best practices and lessons learnt to support knowledge development and capacity building in the area of work

Support capacity development activities through training and product knowledge briefing to improve performance of in-house and outsourced teams.

 

Qualifications of Successful Candidate

- Completion of secondary education. University degree in related field of Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, preferred.
- Minimum six years of professional experience in supporting sales/marketing, telephone marketing and/or fundraising combined with some administrative work experience. Hands-on experience in project management, planning and analysis, is a strong asset.
- High fluency in written and spoken English and Thai.
- Proven proficiency and good knowledge of computer applications.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Tact, discretion, self-starter and good judgement.
- Ability to work under minimum supervision.
- Attention to details.
- Good analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle and complete multiple tasks within deadlines.

Purpose of the Position


Under the supervision of Fund Raising Officer, the incumbent will assist in implementing donor acquisition fundraising activities, particularly face-to-face and tele-marketing activities, through hands on and daily coordination with external agencies; planning; implementing; and evaluating and analyzing results. Also work with the Officer to develop and manage materials for the said activities as well as drive innovation in face-to-face and tele-marketing fundraising.

 

Major Responsibilities
- Assist the Fundraising Officer in execution of donor acquisition fundraising activities, particularly face-to-face and telemarketing fundraising operation, through hands on and daily coordination with external agencies.
- Assist and support the supervisor in monitoring of training; motivational aspects; site and channel management; materials used; processes and back end systems for the donor acquisition programmes.
- Provide assistance in developing and managing materials.
- Assist the PSFR team in implementing best practice or test of donor acquisition techniques based on UNICEF’s extensive global networks and global experience.
- Effectively manage and communicate with other team members, partners, and related parties to achieve programme goals.

- Monitor and report on progress of donor acquisition activities against the work plan and targets. Collect and ensure information and data for further analysis is accurately in ready to use format as well as identify and act on areas where improvement is needed.
- Perform various of effective administrative supports to the Fundraising Officer as well as Private Sector and Fundraising team as and when requires.
- Perform other duties, as required by supervisor.

 

Qualifications of Successful Candidate

- Completion of secondary/vocational education with additional training in a relevant field. University degree in related field, i.e. Marketing, Communication, preferred.
- Five years of relevant experience in the field of supporting sales/marketing and/or fundraising combined with some administrative work experience.
- Hands-on experience in face-to-face fundraising or direct sales marketing or supplier management are strong assets.
- Good organizational and communications (oral and written) skills.
- Attention to details.
- Service-minded with a pleasant personality and good interpersonal skills.
- Tact, discretion, self-starter and good judgment.
- Ability to work under minimum supervision.
- Ability to handle and complete multiple tasks within deadlines.
- Good knowledge of computer applications.

Purpose of the Position

Under the supervision of Fund Raising Officer, the incumbent will assist in developing fundraising strategic plans as well as setting and managing Telethon/Event/Integrated Media Fundraising activities.

 

Major Responsibilities
- Assist the Fundraising Officer in developing plans for Telethon/Event/Integrated Media Fundraising activities.
- Take a lead on executing the Telethon/Event/Integrated Media Fundraising activities.
- Work with UNICEF Working Group members to facilitate and manage the organisation of the Telethon/Event/Integrated Media fundraising activities.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders (i.e., TV channel, a production house, corporate sponsors, donation facilities/platforms) for pre-event, event, and post-event activities.
- Support Communication team and/or internal stakeholders to coordinate with media partners and sponsors.
- Attend internal and external meetings as deemed necessary for the organisation of the event.
- Plan and implement with the Working Group all follow up activities including thank you letters and other appreciation to donors and other stakeholders in a timely manner.

- Monitor and report on progress of fundraising activities against the work plan and targets. Collect, interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and model(s), and provide reports, insights,
and recommendation. Use information gained from the analysis to develop budget and forecast of future activities.
- Perform various of effective administrative supports to the Fundraising Officer as well as Private Sector and Fundraising team as and when requires.
- Perform other duties, as required by supervisor.

 

Qualifications of Successful Candidate

- Completion of secondary/vocational education with additional training in a relevant field. University degree in related field, i.e. Marketing, Communication, preferred.
- Six years of relevant experience in the field of managing or organizing sales/marketing activities/projects and/or fundraising combined with some administrative work experience.
- Hands-on experience in project management, fundraising events, corporate events, or direct sales marketing are strong assets.
- Highly organized and logical, able to manage and priorities multiple tasks and several simultaneous projects and priorities efficiently, to work under pressure, meet deadlines and see projects through.
- Good organizational and communications (oral and written) skills.
- Attention to details.
- Good interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work under minimum supervision.
