Consultant – Qualitative Comparative Analysis (QCA)

Rapid Asia is an independent management consultancy firm based in Bangkok that specializes in evaluations for programs, projects, social marketing campaigns and other social development initiatives. We carry out program evaluations across a number of thematic areas including human trafficking, migration, health, climate change, education etc. Our clients include major donors, UN agencies and international aid and development organizations. We take a regional approach to evaluations and have developed tools and indicators that can be used across borders for the purpose of evaluating program impact. Rapid Asia has to date carried out evaluations in 24 countries across Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe and South America.

We are looking for a suitable consultant to join our project team for an upcoming project and who has proven experience and expertise with Qualitative Comparative Analysis (QCA). This will be a short-term contract and can be home-based. Candidates outside of Thailand are encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop a suitable QCA design in collaboration with project team
• Perform QCA analysis, recommend data adjustments as necessary, and write up results summary
• Assist with interpretation of results
• Assist with formulation/implication of recommendations

Requirements:

• Proven experience and expertise with QCA
• Previous experience with social development projects
• Good command of English language, verbal and written
• Good team working ability, committed to quality and adherence to deadlines
• Based in Bangkok would be considered an advantage but not essential
