Administrative Officer (Accounting and other Administrations)  URGENTLY REQUIRE

Organization : JICA Project Office for ADAP-T

JICA is a Japanese independent administrative agency which aims to contribute to the promotion of international cooperation as well as the sound development of Japanese and global economy by supporting the socioeconomic development, recovery or economic stability of developing regions.

JICA and Kasetsart University signed a Record of Discussions on the Project for Advancing Co-Design of Integrated Strategies with Adaptation to Climate Change in Thailand (ADAP-T Project) and started implementation since June, 2016.

Kasetsart University led by Faculty of Engineering, in collaboration with the University of Tokyo developed the ADAP-T Project to view water as a critical issue and also consider other pressing matters such as forestry, urban and sediment issues, into consideration and find an appropriate trade-off of adaptation plan for both policy makers and frontline officers. The Project has 19 sub theme groups and outputs are expected to reflect Thailand's national strategy and action plans on adaptation to climate change.

Position: Administrative Officer (Accounting and other Administrations)  URGENTLY REQUIRE

Place of Work: Bangkok (office located at Kasetsart University)

Job Responsibilities:

Maintain proper financial management system of the project with regulations including budgeting, accounting, procurement, logistics, human resources and administration.

1)  Prepare and review budget of project.

2) Manage and closely monitor cash flow of project.

3) Review and manage accounting of all groups with regulations.

4) Prepare necessary documents such as quotation, invoice, receipt and trip report of groups.

5) Manage daily payment for activity of groups with handling cash and bank cheque.

6) Make an accurate daily and monthly record on accounting book and report to project.

7) Responsible for all aspects of accounting, logistics, human resources and administrative functions including documentation and coordination of regular meeting.

 

Qualification :

1) Thai CPD (Continued Professional Development) qualification is NOT necessary.

2) Thai nationality

3) Bachelor’s degree in any field.

4) At least 3 to 5 years’ experience in related fields.

5) Strong organization and management skills for solve issues with team work.

6) Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Thai and English.

7) Proficiency in use of PC (MS-Excel, Word, PowerPoint and others)

8) Appropriate skill and knowledge to deal with routine paper works and financial documents
