About GoodNeighbors:

Good Neighbors International (GNI) is an international humanitarian and development NGO in general consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN-ECOSOC). Good Neighbors and local communities are establishing sustainable solutions to poverty by developing market based development programs adopting business models for appropriate technology and establishing social enterprises and cooperatives. Good Neighbors Regional Office has made great strides in its mission by providing people around the world with a better quality of life.

 

Position: Income Generation Officer in Asia Regional Office

 

Primary Responsibilities:

            Developing good practices of IGG

- Finding good practices in accord with IG policy

- Modeling the practices to be adapted to other field country with IHQ

Assuring feasibility of IG projects

- Checking financial and social feasibility of the projects with the template tool

- Consulting the projects

Supporting IGD and IGG

- Supporting Field countries to make IG structure: IGD, CDC, IGG & Cooperative

- Providing relevant information

- Training IG staffs to train IGG members: guide and tool

Monitoring IG monthly report

- Collecting and Feedback

- Consolidating the regional data

- Encouraging and

Communicating and Cooperating with IHQ

- Reporting data

- Suggesting guide and direction

Good Neighbors Asia Regional Office

- Project design & proposal development work (assessments, planning, implementation.  monitoring, evaluation and reporting)

- Ensure that all tasks related to routine project administration, assessment of staff functioning and effectiveness of administrative system are smoothly performed

- Represent GNI in meeting or workshop as requested.

 

Skills Required:

- Bachelor or Master degree majoring in Development Studies or Agriculture, or similar field of development

- Minimum five years of professional experience in project management and implementation on the field of development

- Experience in working with INGO and with government partners

- Experience in planning, project budgeting and expenditure tracking in donor reporting

- Excellent spoken and written English and Computer skill (Microsoft Offices)

- Excellent organizational and communication skills

- Honest and trustworthy, hardworking and willing to learn
