Contract type: Permanent

Salary & Benefits in Thailand:  THB 800,000 – THB 1,150,000 annual gross salary plus pension allowance, medical insurance, pension, 37 days annual leave including public holidays and other competitive benefits.

In Asia Pacific, VSO works in nine countries with partners across the region, including Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, India, Cambodia, Myanmar, Thailand, Philippines and Papua New Guinea.

About the role

You will create appealing content about VSO’s programmes and priorities which can be used on multiple channels to inform and engage staff and volunteers in VSO’s work.

Reporting to the stakeholder communications manager in the UK, you will provide a particular focus on VSO’s work in Asia & Pacific.

You will work alongside the rest of the global stakeholder communications team to create and execute a programme of internal events for staff and volunteers. We will call on you to support and facilitate global/regional online events.

In addition, you will develop and manage VSO’s internal communications, ensuring they effectively communicates corporate messages and elicit conversations and feedback. You will select the most effective communications channel to achieve greatest traction. As important as building effective networks, creating opportunities for two-way communications across VSO, you will develop knowledge of innovative communications tools and techniques, and how these can best be used for VSO.

 

About you

A strong multi-disciplinary communicator, who is also excellent at working with colleagues and partners at all levels. It’s essential that you will have an excellent standard of written and spoken English.

This is a national hire post under national terms and conditions. Right to work in Thailand is required. We will not be able to obtain visa and work permit to non-Thai nationals.
