Freeland, a Bangkok-based counter trafficking organization working for a world that is free of wildlife trafficking and human slavery. Our team of law enforcement, development and communications specialists work alongside partners in Asia, Africa and the Americas to build capacity, raise awareness, strengthen networks and promote good governance to protect critical ecosystems and vulnerable people. We are currently looking to hire a full-time dynamic Online Content Manager to join our Communications team. 

Successful candidate must have strong communications skills. They will be required to create and maintain engaging content for a variety of social media and online platforms, must have experience with CMS, SEO and WordPress, should also be familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and have an understanding of the various analytics programs for social media and website traffic.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create engaging online content for multiple social media platforms;

- Create and maintain an editorial calendar and strategy for digital communications initiatives and align with the overall communications strategy;

- Evaluate emerging platforms;

- Create and manage crowdsourcing initiatives;

- Maintain an editorial calendar and strategy for digital communications initiatives and align with the overall communications strategy;

- Organize and support school outreach events;

- Maintain and update mailing lists for monthly newsletter.

Qualifications:

- University or higher degree in Communications related field; having a background in Marketing is an advantage;

- Excellent language skills, English and Thai, speaking and writing;

- Experience in WordPress and all major social media platforms;

- A passion for wildlife conservation and a good understanding of this field;

- Experience in working in multicultural environments;

- Able to work independently, be a “self-starter” as well as a team player;

- Have strategic and innovative thinking skills;

- Dynamic, reliable, and responsible;

- Minimum of 5-years of related experience.
