ILGA Asia is the regional association of LGBTIQ organisations across Asia, dedicated to advancing human rights, equality, and social justice. Operating from Bangkok, we work with partners across the region to drive systemic change through advocacy, capacity building, and community mobilisation.

We are looking for a passionate, detail-oriented, and committed Finance Officer to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting

• Lead daily financial and accounting operations and maintain financial records in accordance with ILGA Asia’s internal control systems.
• Prepare monthly bookkeeping, payroll documentation, payment requests, and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure proper filing and management of financial documents and donor allocations.

Financial Reporting and Tax

• Coordinate taxation processes and compliance with Thai regulations (PND 1, 3, 53, 54, 55, Social Security, etc.).
• Manage financial reports for donors, fiscal hosts, sub-grantees, and partners.
• Maintain financial trackers, including staff advances, health benefits, and income tax trackers.
• Support staff with reimbursements and advance reconciliations.

Audit and Legal Requirements

• Support organizational and project audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Assist with legal documentation, government reporting, and banking processes.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, or another relevant field from a recognized institution.

Experience

• Minimum two (2) years of relevant work experience in a Thai-registered non-profit organization or international organization.

Applicants should have experience in at least three of the following areas:

• Financial accounting, monitoring, reporting, and audits.
• Procurement and administrative support.
• Event and travel organization.
• Document management and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
