Assistant to the Strategic Partnerships Manager (6 month - contract)

Position: Assistant to the Strategic Partnerships Manager (6 month - contract)

Organization: Raks Thai Foundation

Location: Bangkok- Ari  (with coordination across Raks Thai teams)

Reports to: Strategic Partnerships Manager

 

Key Responsibilities

A. Direct Support to the Strategic Partnerships Manager

 1. Track and manage follow-up items with internal and external stakeholders

 2. Provide reminders, monitor action items, and assist with scheduling

 3. Prepare meeting briefs, talking points, and simple concept notes

 4. Support drafting of correspondence and documents for donors and partners

 5. Organize and document meetings related to partnership development

 

B. Fundraising and Partnership Development

 1. Maintain and update a structured pipeline of leads and potential partners

 2. Conduct outreach or follow-up communications as directed

 3. Support meeting coordination, email drafting, and information curation for engagements

 4. Help prepare basic fundraising materials, partner briefs, and concept proposals

 

C. Research and Intelligence Gathering

 1. Research donor trends, CSR activities, philanthropic initiatives, and funding networks

 2. Create concise research summaries to inform strategy

 3. Compile data and examples to enhance partnership packages and ideas

 4. Monitor public opportunities from embassies, corporations, foundations, and INGOs

 

D. Internal Coordination

 1. Liaise with Program, Finance, HR, and fundraising teams to gather inputs

 2. Support alignment on proposals, budgeting, reporting, and donor inquiries

 3. Arrange internal coordination meetings and monitor follow-ups

 4. Foster positive internal relationships to facilitate smooth collaboration

 

E. Administrative and Operational Support

 1. Provide high-quality note-taking, documentation, and filing of partnership materials

 2. Help organize the Manager’s workflow (calendar, reminders, task tracking, prep)

 3. Prepare simple presentation decks or summaries as needed

 4. Perform other related tasks as assigned to reduce the Manager’s workload

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Business, Development, Communications, International Relations, or a related field
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills
  • High proficiency in both English and Thai for business communication
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organizational skills and task-follow-up discipline
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines
  • Proactive, dependable, and comfortable working with minimal supervision
  • 1-2 years of experience in NGOs, CSR, fundraising, partnerships, or coordination roles will be advantage.
