Location: Remote | Status: Independent Contractor | Report to: Program Manager
Are you an emerging program professional about making a difference? REACH for Equity is seeking a Program Officer to support our projects and partnerships, ensuring that programs are delivered on time, on budget, and with meaningful results. The Program Officer will contribute to grant management, project monitoring, and partner support, working closely with the program team to ensure compliance, accountability, and learning. You will play a vital role in reviewing sub-grant proposals, monitoring expenditures and activities, supporting donor reporting, and strengthening partners’ capacity to design and implement sustainable projects.
What We’re Looking For:
- University’s degree in community development, agricultural, social science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum three years of experience working on donor-funded projects, humanitarian and development projects, agricultural and livelihood projects, and contributing to all reporting requirements.
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Burmese.
- Experience in program management, stakeholder management, finance and grants management, and team management skills.
- Good coordination, collaboration and communication skills with diverse teams, multiple stakeholders, and local partners.
- Able to establish priorities in a time sensitive environment and meet deadlines with strong attention to consistency, detail, and quality.
- Able to work with a variety of partners and navigating complex relationships.
- Resourceful to resolve problems and take the initiative to find solutions.
- Flexibility to allow travel, variable working hours, and some modifications of tasks and responsibilities as team and project needs change.
