ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT 

Kenan Foundation Asia, a non-profit development organization working in partnership with companies, governments, academia, and committed individuals to empower people with the knowledge, technology, and skills necessary for a better future, is seeking a professional for Consultant Roster (Technical Teams (Education/ Social Inclusion or Business and Economic Development Projects) or Partnerships Team)

This call for the roster is published to give an opportunity to applicants to express interest in being part of this roster to undertake the key accountabilities listed below when the opportunities arise.  This vacancy announcement is not related to any current open position. However, all applications received will be reviewed and will be subject to a selection process to assess the relevant professional experience and qualifications of the candidates.

 A Consultant would be responsible for the Key accountabilities listed below. 

REQUIRED SERVICES FOR CONSULTANCIES

Selected consultants will be required to provide services such as:

• Conducting research and technical analysis in relevant fields
•  Developing and writing proposals 
•  Developing new business/resource mobilization 
• Developing, reviewing, and updating strategies, policies, standard operating procedures, plans, and training manuals
• Facilitating workshops, training sessions, and capacity-building activities
• Preparing high-quality reports, publications, and communication materials
• Providing policy and expert advice and technical support for project implementation
•  Supporting monitoring and evaluation processes, including data analysis and impact assessment

REQUIrED AREA OF EXPERTISE 

Consultants should have expertise in at least one of the following areas relevant to Kenan Foundation Asia’s work:

• Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E)
• Public Health
• Governance
• Economic Growth
• Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI)
• ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance)
•  TVET Education areas including curriculum enhancement, internship, and technical skills training
• Climate Finance and Climate Resilience in Business and Communities
• Green Skills Development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in International Development, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in required area of expertise with at least 1-3 years in a consulting role.
• Experience in proposal writing, project implementation or project management is preferable.
• Having experience in managing Civic Engagement and Peace Building area is a plus.
• Proven track record of working with corporations to develop and implement project
• Experience in project management and working with cross-functional teams
• Good interpersonal skills and good teamwork
• Excellent in English writing

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Based on the assessment results, successful candidates will be placed in a roster at consultant level. Applicants who meet the selection criteria may be contacted for further interviews or assessments and to confirm their continued interest and availability for short-term opportunities.
