Location: Chiangmai, Thailand
Job Summary
This entry-level role supports the day-to-day activities involved in processing communications between sponsored participants and supporters. With guidance and supervision, you will use Compassion systems and standards to ensure accurate and timely documentation and communication. You will also assist in maintaining quality data and correspondence across various child development programs including child sponsorship, child survival, and youth initiatives.
Core Responsibilities
Serve as a child advocate, actively promoting awareness of children's needs.
Prioritize and adhere to Compassion’s Child Protection standards in all decision-making and activities.
Assist with coordinating and gathering communication materials from local church partners.
Help ensure supporter-participant communications meet quality, timeline, and production expectations.
Process marketing and external relations content as needed in collaboration with field office teams.
Accurately generate, organize, and track participant data such as project gifts, letters, and child status updates (e.g., registration, transfers, exits).
Review and correct documents for accuracy and compliance with Compassion standards.
Enter information into participant-supporter communication dashboards and digital systems.
Identify and help resolve gaps in understanding Compassion’s systems and processes among church partner staff.
Provide basic administrative support and maintain orderly digital records.
Additional Expectations
Computer Skills: Comfortable working with data entry platforms and digital communication tools.
Administrative Strength: Organized and efficient with handling documentation and correspondence.
Detail-Oriented: Able to focus on accuracy and quality in repetitive or routine tasks.
Interpersonal Skills: Communicates effectively with Partnership Facilitators (PFs) and local staff.
Work Setting: This role is primarily desk-based and may involve repetitive, focused computer work.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree required.
No professional experience required; training will be provided.
*Equivalent education, training and/or certification may be substituted for experience and education shown above
Preferred Qualifications
Conversational fluency in Karen is required; Burmese is an advantage.
Reading and Writing Skills in English is an advantage
Experience working in community development, nonprofit, or administrative environments is a plus.
