Position: Finance and Administration Officer
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance & Administration Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate must hold a valid CPD license, possess strong English communication skills, and demonstrate advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate financial management, regulatory compliance, and efficient administrative operations.
Roles and responsibilities
The Finance and Administration Officer will be responsible for supporting administrative functions and managing office operations, including financial tasks, within the organization.
Within this context, the Finance and Administration Officer will also fulfil the following tasks:
- Administrative Support
- Oversee daily office operations and ensure efficient functioning of the office environment.
- Provide general administrative support, including scheduling meetings, coordinating events, and maintaining office supplies.
- Assist in the preparation and management of travel arrangements and accommodations for staff and visitors.
- Organize and maintain the filing system, ensuring that all documents and records are stored properly and easily accessible.
- Maintain and update office records and documents as required.
- Communication and Coordination
- Coordinate communication between different departments, partners, and stakeholders.
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and documentation for meetings and events.
- Manage the office's communication systems, including emails, phone calls, and other correspondence.
- Supervise the overall finance and administration functions of SRPS and support SRP e.V.
- Manage all finance tasks including daily bookkeeping, payments and receipts processing.
- Prepare payment vouchers and ensure timely payments via banking platforms.
• Monitor budgets, forecast cash flow, and manage petty cash.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and financial reports.
• Manage statutory reporting including VAT, WHT, and social security.
• Ensure compliance with Thai accounting standards and tax laws.
• Support internal and external audits.
- Responsible for all financial reporting and submission to head office including the quarterly forecast and annual budget.
- Manage the statutory accounts, annual returns and any other statutory filings including in relation to taxation.
- Support royalty processing and distribution.Maintain accurate records of financial transactions (cash, bank, payables, receivables).
- Support general office and personnel administration.
- Perform any other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the Managing Director.
- Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Must hold a valid CPD license
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP, dashboards)
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) is a plus
• High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to meet deadlines
Reporting and working arrangements:
This full-time position will report to the Managing Director, SRP (Services) Co., Ltd. who, together with 6 staff members, are based at the SRP’s global Secretariat, located in the Sathorn area, Bangkok.
