Institute of Buddhist Management for Happiness and Peace Foundation (IBHAP Foundation) was found in September 2020 to promote the application of Buddhism to develop happiness and peace in Thai society aligning with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at both operational and policy levels, in order to be an international model.

 

Foundation Manager

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the operational management of IBHAP, overseeing all activities and ensuring alignment with the foundation’s mission and goals.
  2. Develop, implement, and evaluate strategic plans to promote sustainable development and enhance happiness and peace through Buddhist principles.
  3. Provide oversight and support to the program, communication, and research teams to ensure coordinated, successful project.
  4. Establish and maintain partnerships with relevant organizations, stakeholders, and the community.
  5. Manage budgeting, funding proposals, and financial planning to optimize resource allocation and sustainability.
  6. Prepare and present reports on IBHAP’s achievements, challenges, and progress to the Board of Committee and supporters.

 

Qualifications:

  1. Master’s degree in Management, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  2. Experience in role of non-profit management, preferably within organizations focused on sustainable development or social advocacy.
  3. Proven leadership and team management skills, with a collaborative and adaptive approach.
  4. Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, funding, and resource management.
  5. Exceptional communication skills in both English and Thai, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  6. Passionate about social change, SDGs, Buddhist principles and interfaith dialogue.
