Position summary: The Office Manager / HR will play a crucial role in supporting the company's vision by managing office operations and human resources functions. The ideal candidate will come from a corporate background, possess an advanced degree in the relevant field, and demonstrate a strong commitment to the company's mission. This role requires making strategic decisions and supporting the company owners in building the company.
Key responsibilities:
Administrative management:
Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
Implement and maintain office systems, policies and procedures.
Coordinate with various departments to streamline operations and improve workflow.
Manage office budgets and financial records.
Human resources management:
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
Manage the complete recruitment and selection process to attract and retain top talent.
Oversee employee relations, performance management, and training programmes.
Ensure compliance with Thai labour laws.
Conduct performance evaluations and manage employee benefits.
Strategic planning:
Work closely with the senior management team to align HR strategies with organizational goals, and to execute strategic plans effectively.
Contribute to business planning and decision-making processes.
Provide insights and recommendations based on HR analytics and office management data.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and organisational growth, and implement the required changes.
Communication and coordination:
Serve as a liaison between management and employees.
Foster a positive work environment that aligns with the company's values and vision.
Promote a culture of sustainability and community engagement within the workplace.
Excellent ability to plan and coordinate activities such as staff meetings, events, and seminars.
Coordinate with external partners and stakeholders as needed.
Facilities management:
Maintain the office environment, including building maintenance, security, and managing office equipment and consumables.
Coordinate office building services, including cleaning and managing technology needs (e.g., software updates).
Qualifications:
MBA or equivalent advanced degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
Proven experience in a corporate environment, with a strong background in office management and HR.
Exceptional decision-making skills and the ability to handle complex situations.
Strong leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, including ability to communicate fluently in Thai and English language.
Familiarity with Thai labour laws and the latest HR best practices.
Proficiency in office software and HR management systems.
