EIE Project Assistant Workforce
Duration 1st October to 20th of December 2024 (10 days per month)
Background
Save the Children (SC) started working in Thailand in 1979, focusing on child protection, child rights governance, education, livelihoods, and humanitarian responses for children and youth across the country. Today, our programs span a range of work, including but not limited to; Increasing access to education for migrant and refugee children; career skills training and peacebuilding for youth in the Deep South; Supporting and building capacity of women-led grassroots climate organizations; tackling cyberbullying and other online harms to children and youth and supporting LGBITQ+children and youth.
To ensure the right of refugee children from Myanmar along the Thailand-Myanmar border is maintained SC has led the refugee education project since 2013. The key objective of the project is to ensure children’s right to learn and be protected is maintained. As part of this effort, the refugee education project seeks to engage a Project Assistant Workforce who will play a crucial role in providing administrative support. This position encompasses a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the project, including logistical management, translation, and documentation.
The EIE Project Assistant Workforce is hired to provide administrative support to the refugee education project. This workforce will support the refugee education project by preparing and requesting camp passes for participants of the project interventions and staff, translating the quarterly MOI report into Thai, preparing project purchase requests, checking and updating the project stocks, and preparing the MOI proposal.

Management
This position will report to Refugee Education and Protection Program Coordinator

Time frame
Duration 1st October to 20th December 2024 (10 days per month)
Payment
Daily rate of 1,500 baht per day. Perdiem and accommodation costs are charged as associated cost. It is charged as the actual cost. Payment will be made upon the timesheet submission. The workforce will use effort reporting (timesheet) to report time on the tasks. The expected scope of work is from 1st October to 20th December 2024 (10 days per month)
