Location: Various regions within Thailand, with a primary base in Bangkok
Contract: 1 year contract
Reporting to: CEO
Salary range: 40,000-55,000 THB per month
Purpose of the Role
You will be responsible for leading, developing, and implementing two important marine campaigns within Thailand, with a particular emphasis on dolphin protection and shark conservation.

Key Responsibilities
- Campaign implementation: Drive and launch two headline campaigns, tailored for the Thai context. Monitor campaign progress, evaluate impact, and adjust strategies as necessary.
- Stakeholder engagement: Liaise and secure collaboration with various stakeholders such as government agencies, politicians, private sector, and relevant partners to drive the campaign outcomes.
- Advocacy: Liaising proactively with pertinent Thai Government ministries and decision makers to achieve campaign objectives.
- Research: Undertake desktop and field research to help inform the campaigns and drive campaign outcomes.
- Communications: Assist in developing and managing all aspects of campaign communications, such as public facing communications, and in preparing campaign reports for partner organisations.
- Public awareness and education: Running an educational campaign and raising awareness about marine issues.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Thai Nationality
- A bachelor's degree in marine biology, environmental sciences, environmental law, politics or a related field.
- 3 - 5+ years of relevant work experience within NGOs, the private sector or government
- Demonstrated experience in marine conservation or advocacy.
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement and advocacy.
- Proficiency in both Thai and English.
- Familiarity with the marine conservation landscape in Thailand.
- Ability to travel within Thailand.
