Engagement Coordinator

Sidekick is a purpose-driven creative hub dedicated to leveraging design thinking and innovation to address social challenges. We collaborate with communities, non-profits, and social enterprises to create impactful solutions that drive positive change.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Engagement Coordinator to spearhead initiatives that involve and empower individuals within our design projects. This role will involve developing and executing strategies to engage communities at different levels, fostering their participation, and ensuring their voices are central to our social impact endeavors.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement human-centric engagement strategies to involve individuals in our design projects aimed at social impact.
• Collaborate with community partners, organizations, schools, and stakeholders to identify opportunities for engagement and collaboration.
• Organize and facilitate workshops, events, and activities tailored to the interests and needs of participants.
• Act as a liaison between the studio and communities, ensuring their perspectives and insights are integrated into project planning and execution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Education, Social Sciences, Community Development, Design, or related field.
• Experience working in community engagement, education, program coordination, or similar roles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
• Creativity and adaptability to develop innovative engagement methods.
• Passion for social impact and a commitment to empowering individuals for positive change.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
