Thailand One Health University Network- National Coordinating Office is looking for staff, who have high motivation and collaborative mind to be a part of human capacity development for multisectoral coordination and response to infectious disease outbreak

THOHUN BACKGROUND

Since 2012, Thailand One Health University Network (THOHUN) has served materials, researches and educating and training programs for preparedness of student (future workforce) and current workforce practitioners and professional to early prevent detect, control and effectively respond to enraging respond to emergencies reemerging diseases in Thailand.

To prepare the workforce who is ready for diseases outbreak or global health challenges, THOHUN has collaboratively worked with multidisciplinary experts from member universities, governmental and private sectors.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Program Managing Officer will serve as the lead in program management, accomplishing the technical outputs of the network, as well as expanding its scope and sustainability. The main tasks will be:

• Work with the Coordinator to plan for work plan development of THOHUN.
• Assist Coordinator to identify strengths and gaps in program and activity management and priority areas for activity implementation.
• Identify partners and stakeholders for collaboration in OHW-NG activities.
• Propose a sustainability framework or strategies for the network to the Coordinator.
• Schedule and organize planning meetings/events with SEAOHUN and THOHUN team.
• Participate in regional and global meetings for program management and communicate with the THOHUN team.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors or Master’s degree from a recognized college or university.
• Two-year of experience in development of project proposal or workplan.

At least one year working experience with governmental agencies, academic universities, or NGOs is required. Working experience at an international organization is preferred.

• Excellent relationship management, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, with proven ability to liaise, consult and negotiate with a wide range of multi-disciplinary stakeholders, including external agencies and partners.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• fluent in both writing and speaking English and Thai will be highly considered.
• Skills in Microsoft Office/Google, email, and Internet navigation are required.
• Willingness to undertake regional travels.
