Finance And Grants Manager

POSITION SUMMARY    

Location: Chiang Mai, Thailand  

The Finance and Grants Manager is responsible for finance administration, grant/sub-recipients management, financial and donor reporting, compliance, and audit management. This position is an integral part of the SSRP program team and is responsible for providing efficient and effective management of the program’s overall grant portfolio, ensuring compliance with donors’ requirements at all stages of the grants management cycle for all approved sources of funding. The Finance and Grants Manager is also responsible for ensuring quality grant management, assessing needs, and developing quality finance and grant management capacity of field teams, ensuring compliance with donor and internal organization requirements, and plays a key role in supporting the program team in the implementation and donor reporting and regulations.

  • Managerial Leadership of Finance and Grants
  • Budget Preparation and Management
  • Financial Planning, Accounting, and Control
  •  Grants Management and Compliance
  • Financial Reporting, Monthly and Year-end Closing

Qualifications

University degree in accounting, finance, or relevant field.

At least 5 years of experience managing financial and grants management of donor-funded programs (USAID experience preferred).

Experience managing grants with international development programs and managing office staff.

Excellent computer software skills in MS Excel, Word, and accounting software.

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written with fluency in English required.

Knowledge of USAID policies and procedures preferred.

SKILLS:

  • Excellent management and organizational skills are essential.
  • Strong analytical and computer skills, especially spreadsheet and financial analysis. 
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and show initiative.
