TOR: Accounting and Administration Officer, Asian Resource Foundation
Since 1996, ARF has been responding to the needs of vulnerable communities particularly in the areas of children’s education, child rights, women’s empowerment and youth leadership development. ARF also provides a number of workshops and trainings on peacebuilding, conflict transformation, negotiation and reconciliation that are operated by one arm of the organization, the Institute of Peace and Development Studies (IIPDS). ARF mobilizes human and financial resources to respond to the emergency needs of people affected by both natural and man-made disasters which include emergency relief and reconstruction programs.
Position: Accounting and Administration Officer
Assignment duration: 1 year; extendable
Duty Station: Bangkok, Thailand
Job Purpose:
The Accounting and Administration Officer at ARF is expected to roll-out financial procedures devised at group level, manage accounts, general ledger, and cash flow of ARF’s projects in Thailand and other countries ARF has programs in. The A&A Officer has also to formulate annual budget, ensure timely and complete payments to program implementors and employees and manage exchange rate risks, submit tax returns with the Thai revenue department and improve company financial tools. In addition, he/she is also in charge of the costs controlling of ARF’s Asia projects, including financial reports and budget review to the management in cooperation with the project coordinators.
