The Borderland Health Foundation (BHF) is a non-for-profit, non-religious and non-political organization, registered in Thailand. BHF links to field stations of the Mahidol-Oxford University Research Unit (SMRU Clinics) which are located in Mae Sot, Mae Ramat, Phro Phra, Tha Song Yang and Umphang districts in Tak province, Thailand. BHF works with marginalized populations along Thailand-Myanmar border by focusing on health care services and public health issues with its focus on malaria, tuberculosis, and maternal and child health.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and update the accounting records of the organization by keeping the cash and The Vaccine Coordinator is expected to work under supervision of the head of the clinical department (or other designated clinical team member) on assigned tasks, and coordinate activities with heads from other departments (e.g., logistics, finance, administration). Overall tasks are to manage vaccine procurement, storage and cold chain; ensure quality control measure are in place, functioning, and being monitored; support and work together with local staff in the field for vaccines; coordinate with partners such as Office of Thai public health, CBOs, NGOs and other relevant partners for vaccination related issues. Represent BHF in meetings, discussion and contribute to building partnership and smooth collaboration and coordination. Produce reports relevant on vaccine related activities, design monitoring and evaluation plans. Occasional traveling to coordinate and plan with SMRU/BHF site.
