ADRA Thailand is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Vocational Training Coordinator based in Mae Sot, Tak Province, Thailand

Job overview:
The Vocational Training Coordinator will plan effective instructional strategies for adapting or modifying curriculum to meet the needs of the beneficiaries across the 7 camps in Mae Hong Son, Kanchanaburi and Tak Provinces. The coordinator will work with the project staff and the 7 camps to ensure equipment and material are available for instruction and will further work with the Vocational Colleges to ensure quality is maintained during the training. The Vocational Coordinator will be the main liaison between the project, vocational colleges and the camp based trainers.

- Strong Thai verbal and written language skills
- Strong English verbal and written language skills
- Strong Karen and/or Burmese verbal and written language skills
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work in a Christian context
- Must be willing to travel and work in remote camps along the Thai – Myanmar border
- Must have strong management and supervising skills
- High level of flexibility and self-motivated
- Willingness to implement policies and procedures with a professional and constructive attitude
- Good negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to take initiative and work with minimum supervision
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong computer skills (Including Microsoft Office proficiency)
- Understanding of diversity in working environment
- Valid driving license is required

Area Coordinator based in Kanchanaburi Province, Thailand

Job overview:
The Area Coordinator will work with the Project Manager, Field Officer and Vocational & Training Coordinator to directly oversee and manage the implementation of the VTSD project in Ban don Yang camps in Kanchanaburi Province and Tham Him camp in Ratchaburi Province. The Area Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the implementation of project activities at the field level closely with the project staff in Mae Sot. This involves working closely with camp based staff, the field office and the support office in Chiang Mai to ensure that project activities are implemented according to established work plans. The Area Coordinator will also build and maintain strong relationships with Thai Authorities, partner agencies and camp based staff.

- Strong computer skills (Including Microsoft Office proficiency)
- Strong cross-cultural communication skills
- Understanding of diversity in working environment
- Able to drive with valid driving license
