The ICRC Regional Delegation in Bangkok seeks to fill the following position:
System Analyst, based in Bangkok
We are looking for a spirited team player with a can-do attitude to join our dynamic team.
ICRC Bangkok Regional Delegation is seeking to appoint a talented and experienced System Analyst, reporting to ICT Coordinator. The System Analyst is a senior technical expert who manages and organizes all ICT systems and services in her/his assigned location. S/he will be
responsible for understanding and capturing business needs, translating them into quantifiable requirements and functional specifications and
ensuring they are addressed by ICT services and solutions. If you want to gain work experience in the field of ICT and help support our

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Independently leads installations, maintenance and adaptation of large / complex computer and telecommunications infrastructure projects according to ICRC standards.
• Works with the business stakeholders to understand and document business requirements by holding brainstorming sessions, interviews and workshops, and through other requirement-gathering techniques as appropriate to ensure full Business and ICT understanding.
• Collects and documents "as-is" business processes to gain a good understanding of the business landscape and proposes "to-be" processes based on
business requirements, business constraints and information technology (IT) architecture.
• Translates the requirements into detailed specifications in the form of user stories and acceptance criteria, as well as analyses, re-uses or updates data
concepts.
• Tests ICT services and infrastructures (hardware and software) to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
• Provides advanced technical support (2nd and 3rd levels) and training on ICT-related matters in the country or countries of assignment.
• Facilitate business acceptance and solution validation through UAT with Business teams.
• Perform gap analysis between out of the box capabilities of standard tools and business expectations.
• Allocates equipment in an efficient manner, considering Business units need and ICRC policies.
• Keeps track of equipment allocations, dispatches equipment and follows up on shipments to and from other ICRC sites.
YOUR PROFILE:
• University degree in computer engineer, computer sciences, information technology, or a similar degree or experience that may substitute for a degree
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in ICT systems and infrastructures in production environment
• Minimum 2 years of experience as Business Analyst or ICT projects manager, including experience in business process modelling and/or test management
• Capacity to quickly understand multiple new concepts in parallel and identify impacts on the existing Information System (Hardware, Software, Network
Infrastructure, and Server Infrastructure)
• Very good communication and listening skills in order to capture the information required – adept at collecting, synthesizing, interpreting, and summarizing data
• Ability to translate complex questions into practical strategies and to present information in a clear and concise manner along with excellent presentation skills
• Has knowledge in programming, database, and application development
• Understanding of BPMN (Business Process Modelling Notation)
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Outstanding organization and attention to details
• ITIL, Agile certification, project management, or business analysis certification is a plus
• Microsoft TFS, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or Azure DevOps experience is an asset.
