The USAID Thailand Counter Trafficking in Persons Project is seeking a contract service to develop and create one short video that will highlight stories of migrant women living in Thailand and how they have been positively impacted and empowered by the project. The video will be no longer than five minutes and will cover the migrant’s story of their life looking at their vulnerabilities and subsequent empowerment. The contractor will be provided with the stories of the migrants in English and will be expected to lead the creative design process, storyboarding, scripting and complete the voice-over recordings in English and Thai. The contractor will also take full responsibility for the technical part of the video design and editing process and postproduction, including developing animation, handling the copyright and/or any other intellectual rights regarding illustration and other graphic pictures to be included in the design, if needed.  

OBJECTIVES  

The goal of this consultancy work is to produce a visually effective and high-quality video that will be accessible and easy to understand for the Thai public. The video will contain key messages on the life of vulnerable migrants living and working in Thailand and the importance of empowering them to advocate on their own behalf. The video can be a mix of infographics, and animation infographics and/or illustrations with no longer than five minutes duration. The video will be launched on Human Rights Day on December 10, 2021 as part of the 16 Days of Activism 2021.

CONSULTANCY PERIOD The production of the video and related animations will take place in November- December 2021.
