Introduction
The Borderland Health Foundation (BHF) is a non-for-profit, non-confessional and non-political organization, registered in Thailand. The Foundation is linked to a field station of the Mahidol - Oxford University Research Unit (SMRU) which located in Tak province, Thailand. BHF is working with marginalized populations along the Thailand-Myanmar border to scale up and support the health projects, translating the results obtained by SMRU. The main areas of work are malaria, tuberculosis and maternal & child health.

The IT Helpdesk have to ensure the operations of efficient and effective in Software, Hardware and services for the SMRU IT system. Maintenance and monitoring of all computers and IT equipment.

Tasks/Responsibilities:

Manage hardware & software maintenance of IT equipment including network infrastructure in SMRU & BHF Maesot office.
Keeps computer equipment, hardware, and software updated to meet organizational needs.
Maintain inventory of SMRU & BHF IT fixed assets, equipment and software, identify and report obsolete equipment.
Maintain internet connectivity and computer hardware to be compliant with SMRU & BHF minimum standards in a timely manner.
Maintain and monitoring the SMRU and BHF office, about computer system, resolving computer problems.
Assist with the upgrading and/or replacing computerized parts to maximize efficiency of office.
Other duties delegation by supervisor.
