Precious Plastic Bangkok is seeking an enthusiastic and outgoing Project manager who has an interest in environmental issues, sustainability, plastics, and recycling.
Responsibilities for Project Manager
Determine and define project scope and objectives
Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
Prepare and track budget cost based on scope of work and resource requirements
Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
Monitor, measure progress and make adjustments as needed
Job title: Project Manager
Type of appointment: Full-time (Mon-Fri 9.00-18.00 + occasional weekends)
Duration of contract: 1 year (then renewable or convertible to a permanent position, subject to performance review)
Location: FREC Bangkok https://bit.ly/3fYsAOy with occasional travel to different venues.
Salary: 25,000 - 30,000 baht/month

Qualifications for Project Manager
2-5 years of project management and related experience in environment
Strong knowledge of environmental, eco-system, recycling and/or degree in environmentalism is a plus
Experience in working with communities and is accustomed to dynamics of the communities
Proven ability to solve problems creatively, excellent analytical and management skills
Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
Fluent in English or intermediate English is preferred.
Desirable skills and experience:
- Experience or interest in community/environmental work
- Knowledge of plastics / basic engineering / recycling processes
