Recruitment for General Assistant

Good Neighbors Global Capacity Development Center (GCDC), also known as Good Neighbors (Thailand) Foundation, is announcing an advertisement for a vacant position for “E-Learning Assistant”.

This position will work closely with the Program Manager (PM) to support GCDC team in operating GN Academy, online learning platform to design, develop and deliver the online courses.

  1. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in course design and development  
  • Work closely with the PM and course facilitators (in other offices) to design, develop and implement online courses using eLearning content development tools such as H5P, SCORM (iSpring, Articulate Rise), etc. This includes tasks such as PPT design, simple visuals (videos, banners, images), activities, narration recording, etc.
  • Create and setting up course pages and implement activities for each course.
  • Create and maintain course resources (syllabus, handouts, materials, etc.)
  • Maintain and improve course catalog.
  • Continuously review students’ feedbacks to update and improve current courses.
  • Research eLearning trends, technologies, eLearning industries, MOOCs and suggest improvements to current and future courses.

 

  • Administering and Maintaining Learning Management System (Moodle)
  • Work closely with Assistant Manager to operate and manage the Learning Management System (Moodle). This includes tasks such as user accounts management (creation, deletion, etc.), site pages management, badges management, responding to queries via email.

 

  1. Requirements
  • Essential requirements:
    • Bachelor or higher education degree
    • Strong computer skills – MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
    • Full professional fluency in spoken and written English  
    • Good communication and deadline management
    • Knowledge of learning and development (L&D)
    • A positive mindset and a ‘can do’ approach to continuously make improvements to ensure GN delivers high-quality learning and development programs
    • Willingness to learn new things
    • Work with respect with persons from varied backgrounds across international teams

 

  • Desired/Preferred skills
    • Familiarity with Moodle LMS
    • Familiarity with eLearning tools (H5P, iSpring, Rise)
    • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and PHP
    • Knowledge of NGOs and international development
    • Instructional design background
    • Experience in course development and delivery
    • Graphic design, video editing experience

 

  1. Working Condition
  • Monday – Friday. 08:30 – 17:00 (7.5hrs / day)
  • The workstation is in Bangkok, Thailand. (Bangkok Business Center, Sukhumvit 63 Road)
  • The contract is for 6 months
  • The contract period may be extended according to internal situations.
