Consultant: Graphic Designer

Effective: Mar 2021 – Feb 2022

ROLE PURPOSE

International Rivers (IR) works to protect rivers and the rights of communities that depend on them. Working with an international network of dam-affected people, grassroots organizations, environmentalists, human rights advocates, and others who are committed to stopping destructive river projects and promoting better options. IR has expertise in big dams, energy and water policy, climate change, and international financial institutions. We support partner organizations and dam-affected people by providing advice, training, and technical assistance, and advocating on their behalf with governments, banks, companies, and international agencies.

The successful applicant will support International Rivers on a range of project items, which will include the design and graphical support for operational handbooks, safeguarding policies and project reports, among other items where design support may be required during the Effective Period.

DELIVERABLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist International Rivers staff in designing key documents and publications related to the operations and programs of the International Rivers Thailand office for public or internal use.
  • Your deliverables and responsibilities may include but is not limited to:
    • Development of creative aspects and the full design of reports, presentations, posters and other materials for both internal and external stakeholders
    • Work with document editing teams across different regions and time zones to ensure final projects are completed on time
    • Understand and follow International Rivers branding guidelines where applicable.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • At least 3 years experience in graphic design
  • Experience in designing reports in multiple languages preferred
  • Knowledge or experience with International Rivers’ style guide preferred

Quotation/Application:

  • Provide your quotation in Thai Baht, which includes rates e.g. per page or per hour
  • Provide a copy of your CV.
  • Provide 2-3 sample reports or materials recently created by you (preferably within the last 24 months).
