ADRA Thailand is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Finance and Admin Assistant based in Chiang Mai, Thailand

Job Overview: Finance and Admin Assistant works closely with the admin accountant to ensure smooth running of the administration. Finance and Admin Assistant also provides admin and procurement support to Chiang Mai Office.
REPONSIBILITIES:
Finance
- Assist in reviewing receipts and ensure that all expenses and details on receipts are in line with ADRA Thailand Finance and Procurement policies
- Assist in recording all income and expense of petty cash and small projects in to the accounting software with the correct chart of account
- Conduct petty cash reconciliations
- Reimburse trips reports
- Ensure that all support documents and receipts are attached to payment vouchers for petty cash
- Assist in preparing financial documents as requested
- Assist admin to have accurate assets register
- Support accountants for banking and transfer funds to projects
- Assist accountant with tax, social security, provident and other government including revenue department
- Prepares memo’s, support documentations for administration
- Perform other tasks as required by supervisor
Admin
- Coordinate reservation of air tickets, bus tickets, and accommodation for staff and visitors
- Receive incoming phone and fax calls, ensure that they reach appropriate individual
- Manage office supply inventory and stock supply, including ordering supplies
- Support procurement (generally office supplies, office tools and equipment)
- Oversee design and ordering of staff business card and staff badge
- Assist in the payment of office bills (water, electricity, etc.)
- Assist in office maintenance
- Perform other tasks as required by supervisor
QUALIFICATION REQUIRED:
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in accounting or related field
Experience:
- At least 2-year experience in positions equal to the position responsibilities outlined above
Language Skills:
- Intermediate English verbal and written language skills.
- Excellent Thai verbal and written language skills
Skills and Abilities:
- Good typing skills in both English and Thai
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask
- Ability to take initiative and work with minimum supervision
- Strong cross-cultural communication skills
- Proficient in PC use, Windows applications, email and internet. Ability to accurately review and analyze financial and statistical reports in excel format essential
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package (especially Excel), ADRA accounting package (Sun-Plus) is preferred and ability to work with electronic mail packages such as Outlook
- Valid driving license is required
