Freeland is looking to hire a dynamic full-time Legal Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
Working on the USAID Wildlife Asia program, the Legal Specialist will support the Team Lead/ Senior Legal Specialist in strengthening capacity of the project management and stakeholders in analyzing political, government, and legislation trends of the target countries and the region.
The Legal Specialist will provide research inputs in the preparation of regional and country specific interagency programming products such as assessments, reports, the mentoring sessions and workshops for the judiciary, prosecutors and parliaments. The research shall include but not limited to:
The Legal Specialist will also support events coordination; Facilitating dialogue/mission reports and documentation; Draft speeches and guidance notes for dialogues and workshops; Organize planning meetings with stakeholders and government counterparts.
The objective of this particular position will be to assist the Team Lead/Senior Legal Specialist to provide the key deliverables within the timelines and with high quality research outputs.
