ที่มา
ตั้งแต่ พ. ศ. 2545 องค์กรช่วยเหลือไร้พรมแดน (HwF) ให้ความช่วยเหลือ สนับสนุนกิจกรรมตามแนวชายแดนไทย - พม่า แก่ผู้พลัดถิ่นที่อยู่ในในสถานการณ์ฉุกเฉิน และในปี 2550ได้จดทะเบียนอย่างถูกต้องตามกฏหมาย ในจังหวัดตาก ภายใต้ชื่อ มูลนิธิช่วยไร้พรมแดน
วิสัยทัศน์ของเราคือการสร้างสรรค์โลก ที่สามารถให้ความช่วยเหลือแก่ผู้คนกลุ่มเปราะบาง ที่เป็นคนชายขอบที่สุดของสังคม โดยไม่เลือกปฏิบัติ ไม่มีการกีดกันและไร้ซึ่งพรมแดนใดๆ
ภารกิจของเราคือการต่อสู้กับต้นตอของความยากจนและการเลือกปฏิบัติที่กลุ่มผู้พลัดถิ่นจากประเทศพม่าต้องเผชิญ โดยมีความเชื่อว่าการหยิบยื่นความช่วยเหลือ ที่ปราศจากอคติข้ามพรมแดนไป เป็นความต้องการเร่งด่วนที่สุด
งานและโครงการทั้งหมดของเรานั้น แบ่งออกเป็นงานหลัก 5 ด้าน หรือเรียกว่า 5 เสาหลัก อันจะนำไปสู่การบรรลุเป้าหมายขององค์กร ดังนี้:
การศึกษา: เรามุ่งมั่นที่จะส่งเสริมความเท่าเทียมกันด้านการศึกษาสำหรับทุกคน การสนับสนุนการศึกษาแก่เด็กและเด็กนอกระบบการศึกษาให้เข้าถึงการศึกษาที่ได้รับการรับรองและเหมาะสมกับความต้องการ หรือแผนชีวิตและครอบครัว
พัฒนาศักภาพเยาวชน: เราเชื่อว่าเป็นหัวใจสำคัญในการอบรมบ่มเพาะเยาวชนผู้พลัดถิ่นให้เป็นคนดี คือเยาวชนต้องมีความรู้และมีความตระหนักรู้ในประเด็นสังคมต่างๆ อาทิ การค้ามนุษย์, การบังคับใช้แรงงาน, การใช้แรงงานเด็ก, การละเมิดสิทธิเด็ก, การแสวงประโยชน์ทางเพศและการติดยาเสพติด ทั้งในระดับปัจเจก ชุมชน และ สังคม
สุขภาพ: โครงการด้านโภชนาการ การสุขาภิบาลและสุขภาพเป็นสิ่งจำเป็นสำหรับความเป็นอยู่ที่ดีของกลุ่มชาวพม่าที่ด้อยโอกาส โครงการสุขภาพของเราส่งเสริมการให้บริการด้านสุขภาพขั้นพื้นฐานสำหรับแม่และเด็กสนับสนุนครอบครัวและการวางแผนครอบครัว และเพื่อให้แน่ใจว่าเด็กในศูนย์การเรียนมีโภชนาการสมวัย
การพัฒนาชุมชน: เป้าหมายระยะยาวของการมีชุมชนเข้มแข็ง ที่สามารถดูแลตัวเองได้เป็นสิ่งสำคัญและเป็นเหตุผลที่เราลงทุนในโครงการที่ช่วยให้ชุมชนชายขอบมีทักษะและความรู้ที่หลากหลายและเพื่อเป็นประโยชน์คุณภาพชีวิตที่ดีของคนทุกคน

วัตถุประสงค์ ของตำแหน่งนี้
อาสาสมัครสื่อสังคมออนไลน์ ดูแลและพัฒนาช่องการการสื่อสารออนไลน์ของมูลนิธิช่วยไร้พรมแดนให้มีประสิทธิภาพและเพิ่มความรับรู้แก่ผู้คนในสังคมมากขึ้น
หน้าที่หลัก
ประสานงานและมีส่วนร่วมในการผลิตจดหมายข่าวรายเดือนเป็นภาษาไทยและภาษาอังกฤษ
ติดต่อประสานงาน กับ Grants Manager และทุกแผนกอื่น ๆ ภายใต้การดำเนินงานของมูลนิธิช่วยไร้พรมแดน เพื่อสร้างเรื่องราวสำหรับเว็บไซต์และช่องทางโซเชียลมีเดียอื่น ๆ
จัดการและขยายกลุ่มการรับรู้ข้อมูลข่าวสารผ่ายโซเชียลมีเดียของมูลนิธิฯ รวมถึงการโพสต์อัปเดตเป็นประจำใน Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn และช่องทางอื่น ๆ ตามความเหมาะสม
แก้ไขและปรับปรุงเว็บไซต์ของ HwF ฉบับภาษาไทยให้เป็นปัจจุบันเพื่อให้แน่ใจว่าเนื้อหามีความน่าสนใจสำหรับผู้ชม
ดูแลเว็บไซต์ของมูลนิธิฯ โดยการค้นหาและโพสต์เนื้อหาใหม่ๆ รวมถึงการประสานงานและจัดทำร่างบทความเพื่อเผยแพร่
สนับสนุนทีมในการสร้างและแปล (ภาษาอังกฤษเป็นไทย) ของสื่อสิ่งพิมพ์และออนไลน์เพื่อให้สื่อส่งเสริมการรับรู้ให้เป็นปัจจุบัน
ทักษะและความสามารถที่จำเป็น
คนไทย หรือ มีความรู้และทักษะการพูดและการเขียนเป็นภาษาไทย
ความสามารถในการสื่อสารภาษาอังกฤษ ที่รวมถึงทักษะการเขียน ถูกต้องตามหลัก ไวยากรณ์ พิสูจน์อักษรและสามารถแก้ไข

Job description
Social Media Volunteer (Thai national)
Background
Since 2002, Help Without Frontiers (HwF) provides help and support along the Thai-Myanmar border to displaced people that find themselves in emergency situations. In 2007, the organization was registered with the Tak authorities and has since been operating legally according to the Thai labour laws.
Our vision is to create a world where help can be provided to the most vulnerable and marginalised populations without discrimination, without exclusion and without borders.
Our mission is to fight the root causes of poverty and discrimination faced by marginalised migrants and refugees from Myanmar, ensuring help can be given without prejudice across borders, to the most in need.
All our work and projects are based on five key pillars, which we operate within and measure ourselves against:
Education: we are committed to promoting education equality for all; connecting students and out of school children to enrolment of alternative accreditation programmes ensuring formal recognition of their education;
Youth Empowerment: we believe it’s pivotal to be able to educate young migrant people about social problems like human trafficking, forced labour, child labour, child rights abuse, sexual exploitation and drug abuse which is why the Rays of Youth project was created to drive this awareness within communities;
Health: programmes on nutrition, sanitation and health are essential for the well-being of the marginalised Burmese groups. To ensure migrant children in learning centres receive adequate health care, our wellness projects promote basic health services for mothers and children, support families and family planning and provide the awareness raising trainings on basic hygiene.
Community development: the long-term goals of having communities being able to sustain themselves is crucial and is why we invest in project that empower marginalised communities with a range of different skills and knowledge
Child protection: We implement a strict Child Safeguarding Policy and are resolute in our support of children’s rights for each child, as every single child deserves to achieve their full potential.
Role purpose
The Social Media Volunteer is willing to maintain, promote, and develop the online presence of Help without Frontiers in order to maximise our impact and to promote ourselves as widely as possible to the local community.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and contribute to the production of monthly e-newsletters in Thai and English languages
Liaise with the Grants Manager as well as with other departments across Help without Frontiers to generate stories for the website and other social media platforms
Manage and grow HwF’s social media presence, including posting regular updates on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and other platforms as appropriate
Revise and improve the current Thai version of HwF’s website to ensure its content is appealing for the audience
Maintain HwF’s website by proactively seeking and posting new content, coordinating and drafting blog posts
Support the Team in the creation and translation (English to Thai) of print and online materials to keep promotional materials ready and updated
Skills and competencies required ทักษะและความสามารถที่จำเป็น
Thai national or excellent knowledge and oral and written communication skills in Thai language
Fluency in English language, including writing, spelling, grammar, proofreading, and editing skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively, be articulate, with strong writing skills and the ability to feedback accurately
Ability to elaborate information to create interesting and engaging stories suitable for social media channels
Good analytical, organisational, time management and planning skills
Proactive and flexible attitude to adapt and work in different and challenging work and cultural environments
Experience of creating marketing materials using graphic design tools (Canva) and e-newsletter (MailChimp) is highly desirable
A proven ability in the use of a comprehensive range of IT software is desirable
