DAI (Thailand) Ltd., the implementer of the USAID funded Together project, invites qualified vendors to submit proposals/bids to supply and deliver Transportation service, as outlined below.

Anticipated Award Type: Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order

Issuance of this RFP in no way obligates DAI to award a subcontract or purchase order and offerors will not be reimbursed for any costs associated with the preparation of their bid.

 

Basis for Award: An award will be made based on the Lowest Price, Technically Acceptable Source Selection process. The award will be issued to the responsible Offeror submitting the lowest evaluated price that meets or exceeds the acceptability requirements for technical/non-cost factors described in this RFP.

 

General Instructions to Offerors:

  • Due date for submission of Quotations is 17:00 local time on 15 January 2019.
  • Bidders shall submit quotes in a sealed envelope or electronically to togetherprocurement_BKK@dai.com
  • Submitted quotes must be valid for a period of 90 days.
  • Bidders shall sign and date their quotation.
  • Bidders shall complete Attachment A: Price Schedule template.
  • Value Added Tax (VAT) shall be included on a separate line.
  • These services are not eligible for VAT exemption under the DAI prime agreement.

 

Questions Regarding the RFP: Each Offeror is responsible for reading very carefully and understanding fully the terms and conditions of this RFP.  All communications regarding this solicitation are to be made solely through the Issuing Office and must be submitted via email or in writing delivered to the Issuing Office no later than the date specified above.  All questions received will be compiled and answered in writing and distributed to all interested Offerors. 

 

Scope of Work Requirements for Technical Acceptability

  1. Specification of the required transportation services:
  • 2 vehicles with drivers
  • Vehicle type: a pick-up car and/or a SUV Car (Pick up 2.4 cc – 3.0 cc, 4x4 Cab 4, ABS with top-up cover, Toyota Fortuner 2.4 cc - 2.8 cc, or Mitsubishi Pajero (or equivalent), including GPS, CCTV camera.
  • Service hour is 10 hours/day or 08:00 – 18:00 Hrs. Monday – Friday
  • Working on weekend, holiday or non-working hour shall be considered as extra service hour (Ref. DAI’s holiday calendar)
  • Providing full periodic maintenance of the vehicles
  • Logbook of mileage and fuel usage shall be maintained and record by the service provider
  • Fuel (Petrol & Lubricant) shall be charged base-on actual utility bill
  1. Term of Payment: 30 days from the invoice date
  2. Period of contract 36 months
  3. The price shall be included 3% of Withhold tax
