Contract term:   25-40 days in November-December 2018

SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Asia Foundation’s Thailand Office is seeking qualified, undergraduate or graduate student to work on the Deep South Thailand Economic Impacts of Conflict Assessment (TEICA) project funded by European Union (EU).  This Field Research Assistant (FRA) will support a research team for TEICA project. He/she will do data collection, tabulation and validation from secondary data sources and translation relevant documents from Thai to English.

QUALIFICATIONS

• .Fresh under graduate from or graduate master student in economics/management/accounting department
• Familiar with spreadsheet (MS Excel)
• Passionate working with numbers and familiar with secondary data source from National Statistics Office (NSO) and other government agencies
• Having good knowledge on Thailand government budgeting and expenditure system
• Having knowledge on Deep South Economic Development issue is advantage
• Speaking English fluently
• Good analytical skills
• Proactive and effective team member with minimum supervision
• Relevant previous research experience is an advantage
• Having experience working with NGOs is an advantage.
• Thai citizen (required)
