Human Resources Assistant, Req02 ( Independent Contractor 3 Months)



Title: Human Resources Assistant  

Report to: Human Resources Manager 

Location: Bangkok


Background/IRC Summary:  

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) responds to the world’s worst humanitarian crises, helping to restore health, safety, education, economic wellbeing, and power to people devastated by conflict and disaster. Founded in 1933 at the call of Albert Einstein, the IRC is at work in over 40 countries and 26 U.S. cities helping people to survive, reclaim control of their future and strengthen their communities. The IRC has been operating in Thailand since 1975 and currently provides assistance to displaced persons in Tak, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi and Mae Hong Son provinces. IRC Thailand in coordination with IRC Myanmar to conduct Protcetion assessment. Partly of the assessment is to collect data from refugee in Thailand to garter information to understand what protection concerned refugee have to inform IRC’s intervention to address needs of refugees.


Job Overview/Summary:  

 To work with Human Resources team in Bangkok on staff benefit documents and administrative including health insurance, provident fund and etc. To organize files and ensure the updated of all HR related files i.e. personnel file.  To support other HR task for both Bangkok and field office.




Benefit administration

  • Prepare, follow up TISCO Provident Fund application, update information and send it to TISCO Provident Fund Management Company
  • Responsible for IRC national staff health, life and accident insurances in adhering to the company policy. Contact and deal with the insurance company for staff enroll, staff exit from the insurance policy.
  • Prepare add/delete staff name list for Insurance Company to update in Life/Health/Dental Group insurance
  • Compensation and benefit database collection
  • Assist HR Manager to prepare other necessary documents related to Compensation and Benefit
  • Response to HR field office and staff on related benefit.


Documents Controls

  • Responsible for organizing, updating and ensuring the accuracy of personnel filing, consultant contract file, training file, registration files and HR files.
  • Make the necessary copies and ensure accurate distribution of the documents to the people concerned
  • Check that documents are in order in terms of document title, document no., revision no., description and progress status.
  • Prepare and update employee’s personnel file.


Administration and other responsibilities                  

  • Assist recruiter on Job advertisement, schedule interview and contact candidates
  • Maintain and update all related recruitment files
  • Perform other HR duties as assigned by HR Manager and HR Coordinator/Lead.


Job Requirements



  • Bachelor degree in related field

Work Experience:

  • 1 year’s work experience in Human Resources or Administrative work

Demonstrated skills:

  • Excellent Organized skills, deadline oriented, good team player
  • Attentive to details
  • Positive attitude and excellent service mind

Languages and Computer skills

  • Good communication skills, both written and spoken English
  • Computer proficient and demonstrate skills in record keeping


Duration: 3 Months


Terms of payment

The wage will be paid after HR Assistant submit timesheet at the end of each month, payment will be made by bank transfer within seven days after submission of timesheet.
