Title:

Hospitality and Tourism Coordinator

Responsible, Ethical and Sustainable Tourism Project

Location: based in Bangkok, Thailand, with possibility to be extended to other countries in South East Asia

Project descriptions:

The Project is focused on promoting sustainable employment in hospitality and tourism industry in Thailand based on respect for human rights, the elimination of sexual exploitation of children and women, as well as broader concerns such as the conservation of cultural and heritage sites and protecting the environment. 

The successful candidate will coordinate activities in the tourism and hospitality industry in Thailand, with the possibility of extending the Project to other South East Asian countries.

 Qualifications and Required Competencies

• Experience in the tourism industry and/or tourism studies is welcome but not necessary
• Experience in the hospitality industry and/or related studies is a plus
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in the service industry or a desire to work in the service sector is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Fluency in English and Thai
• Sensitivity in dealing with people from different backgrounds and socio-economic status
• Must be able to travel within Thailand and abroad

• Problem-solving skills
• Demonstrates flexibility and openness in responding to changing work priorities, and working hours
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
