Summary |
Suwannimit Foundation is a Thailand registered foundation dedicated to strengthening the operational capacity, programming impact and sustainability of community-based organizations that service underprivileged people on the Thailand-Burma border. The Clinical Manager is responsible for provision of clinical consultations of complicated cases, decisions on referrals, planning and organizing refresher trainings for clinical, reproductive and child health (RCH) and other refugee health workers, and monitoring of clinical services to improve / maintain the quality of clinical services provided by the refugee health workers. The Clinical Manager will provide supervision, on-going coaching, and technical support to Nurse Psychologist, RCH midwife, laboratory technical officer(s), and community health supervisor. He/she will assist the Health Coordinator in developing/monitoring assigned budgets and spending plan as necessary, in order to ensure donors obligations. In addition, the Clinical Manger will assist in disease surveillance activities, outbreak investigation and response, on-time data verification of Health Information System (HIS) reporting. This position has to work closely with IRC health team to understand all health services system in refugee camps in Tak province to ready to transition from IRC to SNF by the end of 2017 |

Job Specific |
Role 1: Health care activities in the camps. (70%) 1. Work closely with focal persons to provide clinical services in Outpatient Department (OPD), Inpatient Department (IPD), Antenatal Care (ANC), Postnatal Care (PNC) and delivery room in camp clinics 2. Assist with identifying needs in referral system, hygiene and working place security 3. Research and design activities/trainings which can improve the services.
Role 2: Health Information System (HIS) (10%) 1. Assist in Data verification of Health Information System (HIS) 2. Assist in disease surveillance activities, outbreak investigation
Role 3: Coordination and partnership (10%) 1. Closely coordinate with the Camp health staff and Camp community for health issue in the camp 2. Attend the meetings with Thai government units, NGOs and Partners
Role 4: Reporting (10%) 1. Submit regular reports as agreed with Executive Director/ Senior Medical Manager 2. File and manage supporting documents as indicated in the monitoring framework 3. Provide inputs for program development and proposals and sharing of information within SNF regarding meetings, project activities, camp and other coordination issues, or any other relevant information

Position Requirements |
|

Education |
· MD or MBBS; Post Graduate Diploma on Family Medicine/Pediatric/Obstetrics and Gynecology or higher degree in related field such as Member of Royal College Physicians (MRCP) is a plus. |
|
Work Experience |
· At least 3 years’ experience in provision of health services, pregnant women and delivery · Experience in reproductive health in a refugee setting or in developing country is an advantage |

Skills/Knowledge/Aptitude |
· Strong organizational skills, good at multi-tasking, flexible. Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing · Basic computer literacy such as knowledge in the use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint |

Language(s) |
· Burmese and English fluent · Thai and Karen is an advantage |
