Position:  Finance Officer – 4CA Project

Assignment duration: One year contract with likely extension

Duty station: Chiang Rai

JOB BACKGROUND: The Finance Officer will be support the Child-centered Climate Change Adaptation (4CA) project to ensure that all financial tasks and required finance documents are completed in an accurate and timely manner according to donor’s compliance and Plan’s regulation.

TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Produce project’s financial reports that are accurate and timely and ensure donor financial requirements are met;
• Ensure that all scanned bills have been submitted to the donors.
• support on cash flow and project budget monitoring, including accounting training to seed grant’s recipients
• produce budget vs actual expenditure reports for grants budget control;
• Update grants data in SAP; review Grants Tracking System.

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor degree in finance, accounting, or business administration; minimum four years’ experience in grants administration or financial analysis; preferably with NGOs; attention to accuracy and detail; proactive and flexible; good English skills; experience with SAP as added advantage.
