The ICRC regional delegation in Bangkok provides assistance to victims of violence and works with authorities in order to improve the conditions in detention facilities. It is covering operations in Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam. It also endeavours to promote and to strengthen humanitarian law and universal humanitarian principles.

This post will be under the supervision of Hospitality department which responsible for the visa, hotel, car booking and follow-up of domestic and international flights. It also organizes the welcome of new national and international staff. Finally, this department is in charge of the organization of seminars, conferences and meetings taking place mostly in Bangkok.

Job purpose

The position holder will have the following responsibilities:

• Organizes all travel related documents
• Maintains contact with services providers
• Maintains good relations with governmental & official representations of the country
• Ensures the proper handling of the official stay procedures for expats in the country
• Ensures the arrangements of visas when travelling on missions
• Ensures the proper logistical support for all the travel files' movements
• Ensures the necessary administrative related work & other office tasks
• Updates lists & data bases to ensure the proper handling of service files
• Communicates properly with expats on their stay arrangements in the country and their travel file

Your education and experience:

• University degree
• 2 years’ experience in a similar function
• Very good command of written and spoken English
• Very good computer skills
• Excellent organisational and methodical skills
• Good communication skills
