The Asia Foundation is an international development organization committed to the development of a peaceful, prosperous, just, and open Asia-Pacific region. The Foundation is seeking qualified Thai nationals for one Administrative Assistant/Receptionist and one Program Assistant based in its Bangkok office.
1. ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT/RECEPTIONIST
Responsibilities: Under the supervision of senior colleagues, manage the front office; support office management, procurement and inventory, and publications; maintain contact directory; provide logistical and visa support, and coordinate internal and external office communications.
Specific Qualifications:
Excellent written and spoken English
Strong organizational and administrative skills
Vocational Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
2-3 years work experience
Good computer skill i.e. MS Word, MS Excel
Pleasant personality, enthusiastic and proactive attitude
2. PROGRAM ASSISTANT
Responsibilities: To provide operational and administrative assistance to the Regional Conflict team, including a variety of administrative, coordination, and logistical support, and assistance with internal information management.
Specific qualifications and characteristics:
Excellent written and spoken English
Strong organizational and administrative skills
Good computer skills, including specific knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, and Access
Bachelor’s Degree
Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and manage time well
Team player and quick learner with strong interpersonal communication skills
Professional, friendly, and enthusiastic personality
Self-starter with a proactive attitude who can anticipate needs
