Salary starts from THB 50,265 to 62,097 per month, plus insurances and other benefits

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Under the direct supervision of the Human Resources Assistant and with overall guidance of the Senior HR Strategic Business Partner,  the Business Support Assistant (Human Resources) will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Provide assistance in  all talent acquisition process related to the recruitment of National / International staff.
  • Provide HR helpdesk, monitoring and maintenance servcies.
  • Liaise with other internal units/offices on HR related matters and with other UN partners agencies.
  • Ensure HR services and process efficiency to enhance stakeholder experience.
  • Provide logistics support for HR events and workshops related to People strategy.

 

HR Analytics support 

  • Work with confidential data supporting the HR Leadership in Change management initiatives.
  • Develop Regional HR Dashboard .
  • Standardizations and development of smart format for engagement and analysis.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Completion of secondary school education. A Specialisation Degree in HR would be added advantage.


Experience and skills:

  • Four or more years of progressively responsible work experience in the relative business stream with experience in general administrative work, including year of experience in human resources or other related field. 
  • Candidate with experience in Progressive HR Multinational corporation/ organization with orientation to deliver value added services to internal stakeholder will be preferred.
  • Strong number orientation, excellent English written skills with good interpersonal of engagement with internal stakeholder.
  • Expertise in advance MS Office skills in Excel, Power Point is a MUST.
  • Working knowledge of SAP would be an added advantage.

ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT

At this level job holders are expected to demonstrate responsibility and initiative to respond independently to queries with only general guidance. There is a requirement to use judgment in dealing with unforeseen problems on a daily basis.

JOB PURPOSE

To provide technical support on the development, maintenance, testing and implementation of a portion of IT solutions in line with business requirements.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Write program code in order to support the development and implementation of efficient and effective IT solution components.

2. Keep up-to-date technical systems documentation for developed IT solutions in order to support systems maintenance. 

3. Perform unit and integrated testing of new, enhanced or fixed code in order to ensure completeness and adherence to technical specifications.

4. Assist in the installation, configuration and customization of IT systems ensuring compliance with WFP’s IT standards, guidelines and procedures. 

5. Assist in the release of IT systems and provide early life support in order to prepare for and enable proper use of the IT solution.

6. Resolve users queries independently, escalating if required, to ensure that standard IT questions are answered and accurate information is provided.

7. Assist in the preparation of materials and the delivery of trainings on automated business processes to ensure efficient and effective use of IT systems.

8. Collect and collate data, conduct basic analysis to support the development of accurate reports.

9. Perform other related duties as required.

DESIRED EXPERIENCES FOR ENTRY INTO THE ROLE

Education:
Completion of secondary school education. A post-secondary certificate in the related functional area is desirable. University degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology Management, or related fields would be an advantage.

 

Experience & skills:

  • Relevant years of progressively responsible IT support experience, preferable 6 or more years in building technical skills and staying abreast of industry developments.
  • Has gained knowledge of technical issues through exposure to IT operations.
  • Has experience analysing service management results and development service enhancement recommendations.
  • Has participated in business process re-engineering efforts and identified service management improvements.
  • Has experience participating in country office procurement/budgeting process on ICT equipment/system.

 

Language: Fluency in both oral and written communication in Thai and English.
