Good Neighbors International (GNI) is an international humanitarian and development NGO in general consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN-ECOSOC). Good Neighbors and local communities are establishing sustainable solutions to poverty by developing market based development programs adopting business models for appropriate technology and establishing social enterprises and cooperatives. Fundraising & Grant Writing Officer (year contract)

• Primary Responsibilities:

• Excellent written communication skills
• Top-shelf research skills
• Research funding sources by sectors
• Ability to understand the needs of both the agency in need of funding and the organization that is offering the grant fund
• Great organizational skills
• Being able to understand and execute complex instructions
• Outstanding computer skills
• Ability to follow global trend and issues
• Networking with global organizations and agencies

• Skills Required:

• Minimum three years of fundraising experience is required
• Experience in grant writing
• Experience in finding global funding sources and agencies
• Bachelor or Master degree majoring in Development Studies similar field of development
• Professional experience in project management and implementation on the field of development
• Experience in working with INGO and with government partners
• Experience in planning, designing and executing activities
• Excellent spoken and written English and computer skills
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Honest and trustworthy, hardworking and willing to learn
